Here in Mexico the spring spirit is in the air. As a bees we are enjoying the shapes, colors, smells and flavors of the flowers.

Pachycereus marginatus flower

As the Pachycereus marginatus flowers that provides pollen to bees, wasps and other pollinators.

We called cactus organo o chilayo and we use it to fence our houses.

You can see a sample of that fence in the Botanical Garden El Charco del Ingenio at San Miguel de Allende also in the Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo at Mexico City.

For one year we are working to reproduce the chilayos and we planted some of it, therefore the fruits are coming.

We are providing florar resources for pollinators. Also we have a live fence and we are preserving our biocultural heritage.
