Bees floral resources bingo/lotería de plantas visitadas por abejas

If bees are in danger also the plants pollinated by they. For that reason since 2015 we have been working in the loteria project. To show the diversity of plants that provide resources to bees. The importance of pollination in the Mexican biodiversity and how we can tasted in the honey varietals.

The amazing illustrations was made by the painter Yui Sakamoto.

The fist time we play it was in the IX Congreso Mesoamericano sobre Abejas Nativas at San Cristobal, Chiapas, Mexico. The second was the last weekend in the Encuentro Mexicano de Guardianes de Semillas at San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico.

This time the actors was farmers and gardeners from worldwide specialy the Americas. Interested in the orchard pollination and seeds production. The experiences exchange was amazing as the management of some wild species in the different eco-regions.

The Encuentro was a great opportunity to made friends and linked projects. Thanks to Via Organica, Somos Semilla and else organizers.

Of course the crew enjoying playing bingo and eating honey.
